Role Overview
We’re looking for a Pharmacy Typist to join our remote operations team.
In this role, you’ll transcribe and verify prescription information with precision, process insurance claims, and ensure data integrity across our pharmacy systems. You’ll collaborate closely with pharmacists and operations teams to maintain compliance, billing accuracy, and timely order fulfillment.

Requirements:
What You’ll Do
Accurately type and enter prescription and patient data into pharmacy management systems.
Verify medication names, dosages, and patient information with exceptional accuracy.
Review handwritten and electronic prescriptions for completeness and compliance.
Process insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Resolve rejected or pending claims in coordination with pharmacists and billing teams.
Monitor prescription orders through the dispensing process to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain accurate billing and prescription records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
Flag discrepancies or missing information to supervising pharmacists.
Collaborate remotely with pharmacists, dispatch, and operations teams to ensure smooth and timely order processing.
Uphold productivity, accuracy, and compliance standards across both data entry and billing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (required).
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical terminology and prescription structure.
Typing speed of 60+ WPM with high accuracy.
Excellent attention to detail and data verification skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a remote environment, aligning with U.S. Pacific Time hours.
Previous experience in a pharmacy, medical transcription, or healthcare documentation role is a plus.
